About Us

We are all in this together – and we are glad you are visiting our site. 

We aim to work in partnership with Milton Keynes Borough council, Schools, the police, care homes, community groups,the public, hospitals and other statutory bodies to break down barriers which exist in society today and to increase choices and better opportunities.

Provide better access to information and development to improve the life of the Black and Ethnic Minority people in the Milton Keynes area.

Give them better chances in life by making sure their voices are heard and that they are involved in making decisions that affect them.

Contribute to the improvement of community cohesions, social economics, gender and race equality, human rights, violence against women and children, health status and education.

Our Mission

To brings together all Black and Ethnic Minority and those with an interest in Milton Keynes, to come together, celebrate, learn and promote, various aspects of Black and Ethnic Minority culture. a place to meet for all and where you can find relevant information.

To Learn about African, Afro Caribbean and other Ethnic histories and cultures including Black History Month, which Black communities had celebrated together since the late 19th century.

To educate, campaign and raise awareness both to the local communities and at-risk women and children about human trafficking and female genital mutilation.

To work together with schools and Hilton Keynes college to improve the emotional and social outcomes for the Black and Ethnic Minority children and young people in the Milton Keynes area and to influence and improve policies and legislation.

To promote the health and wellbeing, reduce deaths and tackle major diseases and illness, includes aims to improve accessing health care and to influence people’s attitudes and their behaviours towards healthy living.

To encourage young Black and Ethnic Minority people to take an active part in their communities and to find practical solutions to improve and develop positive behaviours.

To work closely with parents to have good quality information, advice and support for all young Black and Ethnic Minority and children about the education system, including the role of parents, teachers and schools.

To provide support and advocate for Black and Ethnic Minority people who are affected with Issues such as Female genital mutilation, domestic abuse,Human trafficking,forced marriage and issues related to honour based abuse.

To recruit and trained volunteers, to mentor Black and Ethnic Minority children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
